1. About this policy
This policy explains information handling in Money Left and this support site, including versions of Money Left 1.0 that offer advertising. The advertising sections do not apply to builds without an advertising SDK.
2. Budget records you enter
Salary, expenses, payment records and living-expense budgets are stored on your device. The app has no feature that sends these records to the operator’s servers or advertising providers. Amounts and item names are not used to select ads.
No account is required, and there is no automatic bank or card connection. The app does not request access to contacts, photos or GPS location. Advertising and consent services may, however, estimate a general region from your IP address.
3. Information processed for advertising
Versions with advertising enabled use Google AdMob (the Google Mobile Ads SDK) and may show an ad during preparation for a fresh launch. Google may collect and process the following for ad delivery, measurement, fraud prevention and quality improvement:
- IP address and the approximate region inferred from it
- Device- or app-related identifiers and technical information
- Ad impressions, clicks, video views and other ad interactions
- App interaction information, crashes, performance and other diagnostics
Money Left disables ad personalization and Publisher first-party ID, and does not request tracking authorization to access IDFA. Non-personalized advertising still involves information processing for delivery and fraud prevention; it does not mean that no data is collected.
For Google’s use, retention and sharing, see the Google Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services. The operator does not link your on-device budget records with Google advertising information.
4. Consent and ad privacy choices
Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) checks privacy requirements based on region and consent status. Google may process approximate location, interaction and performance information for this purpose.
When consent is required, Home offers an ad privacy settings button. Where reviewing or changing choices is required, ad privacy settings are also available in the support screen opened using the question-mark button on Home. Review or change your settings using the available options. This entry may not appear in every region or consent state.
You do not have to consent to advertising to use budget features. Recording income and expenses and calculating forecasts remain available when consent information or ads cannot be retrieved. To limit ad frequency, the app stores the launch count and the most recent ad presentation attempt time on your device.
5. Backups and deletion
The app does not provide its own cloud sync or export. Depending on your device settings, operating-system backups may include app data. Use Apple’s settings and services to manage these backups.
Deleting the app also deletes its local app data; this is different from offloading an app. The operator does not keep a copy of your records and cannot restore lost data. Deleting the app does not by itself delete advertising information already processed by Google.
6. Support inquiries
If you contact support by email, your email address, message and attachments are used as needed to respond and investigate problems. Gmail is used to send, receive and store email.
Please do not send sensitive information such as salary amounts or bank details. Contact the email address below with questions about, or requests to delete, information provided in a support inquiry.
7. Visiting this support site
This site has no data-submission form. Email links open your email application. The site does not use its own advertising, analytics or tracking cookies.
The hosting service may process technical information such as IP addresses and access times to deliver and secure the site. This does not send your in-app salary or expense records. External sites, including Google, apply their own policies when you open their links.
8. Policy updates
This page will be updated when features or information-handling practices change.
